About British Accent Coaching
Accent coaching is a service for anyone wishing to modify their current accent. We work with second language English speakers who would like to improve how they sound in British English, and we work with actors or professionals who for whatever reason need to learn a new accent.
For non-native English speakers
We have worked with 1000's of students over the years and helped them to perfect their pronunciation in British English and given them a whole new understanding of the sounds, rhythm and flow of the English language.
We find our students finish the course with a new-found sense of confidence in the way they sound and also with the knowledge of how to deal with their problem areas and make any tricky sounds much more manageable.
We also make learning fun and engaging, using a variety of techniques such as reading aloud poetry and prose, to shadowing techniques, to vocal exercises and drills, to work on developing the British resonance and tone. We love guiding students towards more accurate and effective communication and our students feedback that they enjoy the process as well.

I, (Sabrina) work as a dialect coach helping actors and voiceover artists to master various accents. I have used my knowledge of phonetics from years of working as an English language teacher and my drama training and work as an actor, to develop an intuitive but theoretical approach to learning accents.
I aim to give the actor a deep understanding of how to use your vocal system in a whole new way in order to create an authentic and nuanced accent.
